Shakespeare On The Fly seeks to explore the contemporary intersection of language, community, social activism, race and gender with the universality of Shakespeare and other classic playwrights’ timeless texts. Formed by a core ensemble of trained teaching and performing artists, SOF seeks to illuminate classic and contemporary works for an early 21st century audience both as individual pieces and a collective whole. As SOF views the audience as in integral part of the performance and members will receive nightly information regarding specific areas of their necessary communal participation in the theatrical event.
